WHAT YOU’LL DO

Manage the ordering process ensuring B2B orders are received, processed, packed and shipped on-time
Provide excellent customer service to our retail and corporate customers
Collaborate with sales on new retail customer setup including operational setup with EDI, ERP, internal and 3PL systems
Communicate and work with our 3PL, logistics and decoration providers
Support inventory planning by providing retail inventory needs to improve order fill rate and efficient inventory allocation
Identify, propose and implement process or system improvements
Be responsible for retail ordering metrics such as on-time fulfillment and order fill rates and the related data gathering and reporting required
Manage goal setting, set action plans to achieve department or company strategic objectives and develop team members
Hybrid schedule working in our San Mateo, CA office 3 days per week

WHO YOU ARE

5-10 years of experience in sales operations, operations, logistics, consulting or a related field
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Experience working with retail vendor guides for ordering and packing requirements; and retail systems to receive POs and route shipments (e.g., vendor portals, lingo, EDI, etc.)
General understanding of 3PLs and logistics providers and how to work with them
Ability to be an individual contributor and manage people
Project management skills to organize tasks to achieve an overall goal or timeline
Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations particularly during the demanding Q4 peak season
Desire and willingness to work and adapt in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
Bonus: Direct experience overseeing or managing international logistics or 3PLs
