Company Overview: We are a privately held, multi-entity company operating in the U.S. Virgin Islands, encompassing a luxury resort, a hardware retail store, and a nationally franchised car rental business. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) to support our financial operations and help lead our continued growth across diverse sectors.

Position Summary: The ACFO will work closely with the CFO and Resort Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budget management, internal controls, and compliance across all divisions. This individual will play a pivotal role in consolidating financial data, maintaining reporting accuracy, and contributing to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all business units

Collaborate with the Resort Financial Controller to ensure accurate reporting and timely monthly closes

Manage budgeting processes, forecasting models, and financial variance analyses• Support cash flow planning and monitor daily liquidity positions

Oversee general accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with U.S. Virgin Islands regulations• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies

Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue optimization

Participate in cross-functional financial planning with department heads and executive leadership

Assist in system improvements and software upgrades related to financial management

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)

CPA or CMA certification (preferred)

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in hospitality, retail, or franchise operations

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and budgeting principles

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
