About Us:Founded in 1901, Feeser’s, Inc. is a family-owned and operated full-line foodservice distributor based in Harrisburg, PA. We proudly serve the Mid-Atlantic region, offering a wide range of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base, including restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and more.

Position Summary:As the Director of Sales, you’ll be at the heart of our sales operations, working closely with our Sales team, including Regional Sales Managers, DSRs, and National Account Managers. Your mission? To nurture and grow positive, long-term relationships with key accounts across Feeser’s Food Distributors footprint. You’ll set and achieve specific objectives for these key accounts, driving our success forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with Excellence:Drive sales and optimize profits in line with Feeser’s long and short-term goals
• Build a Winning Team:Foster a culture of external focus, frequent customer visits, and top-notch customer service
• Forge Strong Partnerships:Establish and maintain sales partnerships with key customers through regular business reviews and competitive analysis
• Innovate and Strategize:Develop and manage innovative sales strategies to leverage our current capabilities and explore new channels
• Inspire Trust:Lead your team to build high levels of customer partnership and trust
• Drive New Ideas:Contribute to the ideation of new products and markets, challenging the status quo and promoting continuous improvement
• Manage and Direct:Oversee a sales team of regional managers and DSRs, and manage industry trade shows and targeted events
• Forecast and Analyze:Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and analysis to upper management
• Oversee Beverage Department:Manage new products and account opportunities in our beverage department
• Coordinate Marketing:Work with customers and our internal marketing department to coordinate marketing programs

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years in a successful sales environment
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in the foodservice industry
• Proficiency in creating and managing spreadsheets, with the ability to create sales forecasts and budgets in Excel
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move in different positions, including tight and confined spaces
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods
• Ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
• Strong communication skills to exchange information
• Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Visual acuity for close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
