The Tesla Energy team is looking for a Sales Operations Intern to join the Business Operations team. In this fast-paced position you will learn about the order life cycle, from contracting to delivery and revenue recognition.
This role works closely with the Sales team and other business functions across the sales and delivery cycle. They are responsible for managing the orders pipeline, address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, reports deliveries, and resolve critical operational issues.
What You'll Do
Execute and coordinate all operational aspects of certified installer orders, including new order confirmations, backlog management, sales order delivery, revenue recognition, and cash collectionRespond to general order-related inquiries from different departments within the organizationCollaborate with the Sales teams to develop and streamline the sales pipeline managementEnsure data quality in various internal systemsInvestigate system discrepancies promptly and provide solutions
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or Computer Science1+ years of experience in operations roles, preferably in a technology or energy-related fieldDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative cross-functional relationships Self-starter with a goal-oriented and highly motivated mindset, and able to follow and disrupt instructions Exceptional attention to detail Technological fluency and proficiency in MS Office, with moderate skills in MS ExcelAbility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively multitask, prioritize tasks and processes, and track findings and deliverables Fluent in English, both written and verbal
