Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead and execute our revenue growth strategies while embodying our commitment to customer-first service. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in the MSP industry, exceptional operational expertise, and a proven track record of building high-performing sales and business development teams. The CRO will be instrumental in shaping the strategic vision of the company, driving revenue growth, and fostering a collaborative team environment. We are hoping to have someone that is able to commit to traveling to our office in Bellmore, NY on an as needed basis.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aligned with Lerner Solutions' customer-first philosophy and long-term business objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to refine the company’s vision, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and operations.
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams specific to the MSP industry.
Business Development
- Build and lead the business development function from the ground up, including the creation of a robust sales pipeline.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients, leveraging industry expertise to position Lerner Solutions as the partner of choice.
- Implement and oversee scalable processes for lead generation, sales development, and client acquisition.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, particularly the COO, to ensure seamless operational alignment and delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
- Guide and mentor team members, fostering a supportive, non-threatening environment that acknowledges past challenges and builds trust.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor and drive performance, ensuring accountability and sustained growth.
Team Leadership
- Inspire and lead a team-oriented culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.
- Partner with key executives to build and empower a high-performing sales team capable of driving consistent results.
- Act as a mentor and advocate for internal talent, supporting their professional development and aligning roles with company growth.
Revenue Generation
- Drive revenue growth to meet and exceed the $300k milestone, with a focus on sustainable, long-term strategies.
- Leverage extensive MSP industry knowledge to identify revenue opportunities and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns.
- Balance base and variable compensation strategies to incentivize top performance while optimizing equity offerings.

- MSP Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in leadership roles within the MSP industry, with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Proven Revenue Growth: A track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets, building sales pipelines, and leading business development initiatives.
- Operational Savvy: Experience working closely with operational teams to align strategy and execution, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Compensation
- Competitive salary starting at $225,000 with a focus on higher variable compensation to align with performance and high bonus potential.
