Position Overview
EnergiSpot is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales to join our leadership team and drive our expansion in the United States. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, this key leadership role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and oversee all aspects of the sales organization, including sales operations, sales management, business development, marketing and account management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling sales teams, penetrating new markets, and delivering sustained revenue growth in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand EnergiSpot’s footprint in the U.S., with a focus on key target markets: auto dealerships, fleet operators, hotel and hospitality, healthcare, multi-family residences, and parking lots
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Sales Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, with an emphasis on rapid expansion in strategic markets
- Set clear goals, track performance metrics, and foster a results-driven culture
- Sales and business development skills
Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales growth and revenue targets through effective pipeline management and innovative sales initiatives
- Partner with marketing and product teams to develop tailored solutions that meet the needs of various customer segments
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to position EnergiSpot as the go-to provider for EV charging solutions
- Advocate for customer needs and feedback to inform product and service development
- Account management and sales operations experience
Operational Excellence:
- Implement processes, tools, and technologies to optimize sales operations and ensure scalability
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to the CEO and executive leadership team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven record of driving significant growth and scaling sales organizations
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Experience in the EV, clean energy, or technology sectors is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of B2B sales within target placement markets such as auto dealerships, fleet, hospitality, healthcare, multi-family, and parking facilities
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to attract and retain top sales talent
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a customer-centric approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
