Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the

financial operations of our fast-growing global travel business. As a key member of the

executive leadership team, the CFO will provide financial stewardship, drive strategic growth

initiatives, and ensure financial compliance across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will

bring a strong understanding of the travel industry's financial dynamics, a proven track record

in global operations, and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership

• Develop and oversee the financial strategy to support global business growth and

profitability.

• Lead and manage all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting,

budgeting, and scenario modelling.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.

2. Capital Strategy and Management

• Develop strategies for capital allocation and ensure optimal funding for growth

initiatives, M&A activities, and market expansion.

• Oversee capital raising efforts, including debt and equity financing.

• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

3. Global Financial Operations

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, systems, and processes across all

operating regions.

• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations, and local

legal requirements.

• Lead global treasury, risk management, and cash flow optimization.

4. Strategic Partner to the Founders and Leadership Team

• Collaborate with the executive team to define long-term business strategy and

objectives.

• Act as a trusted advisor in evaluating new market opportunities, partnerships, and

product innovations.

• Oversee the development of metrics and dashboards to measure financial and

operational performance.

5. Risk Management and Compliance

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, including

financial, operational, and market risks.

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, including GDPR, tax laws, and

travel-specific regulations.


6. Team Leadership and Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global finance team.

• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the

finance function.

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or

MBA preferred).

• CPA, CA, or equivalent financial certification is highly desirable.

Professional Experience

• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years as a

CFO or equivalent role in a global organization.

• Demonstrated success in the travel, fintech, or technology industries is highly

preferred.

• Experience managing financial operations across multiple regions, including expertise

in international taxation and transfer pricing.

• Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets.

Skills and Competencies

• Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable

financial plans.


• Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP implementation, and technology-

driven finance solutions.


• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence

at all levels.

• High level of analytical rigor and attention to detail.

• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
