Salesforce CPQ Developer

Location: Fully Remote/WFH

Duration: 6 Months+

About The Team

The North America Salesforce instance caters to Sales & Service users in the Payments line of business within FIS. The Technology team that maintains this system constitute product managers, architects, technical leads and software engineers. They are responsible for the development and deployment of Salesforce application along with other integrating apps in the ecosystem. Other apps include Oracle CPQ for product & pricing, DocuSign and Apttus for contracts and several other small AppExchange apps.

INASA - ENTERPRISE Boarding work require software developers being brought in as part of HELIX initiative :

  • Develop ECOM Product & Pricing screens, logic in Oracle CPQ
  • Develop ECOM screens in INASA & ENTERPRISE Salesforce to generate Price Schedules, write Integrations to Boarding APIs

General Duties & Responsibilities

Understand requirements and break it down into logical technical pieces

Have a good eye for technical architecture, system design, end user interface and experience

Break down complex technical design into smaller technical elements

Assign and review work assigned to offshore technical resources

Analyze, design, build and test application in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.

Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Participate in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.

Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.

Complete documentation for installation and maintenance.

May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.

Education, General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Master's degree desirable.

Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles preferably using SAFe Agile methodology

5+ years of Salesforce experience with at least PD-I certification (PD-2 preferred)

Salesforce experience in Lightning (LWC / Aura), Flows, Process Builder & Workflows

Salesforce experience working and troubleshooting SOAP/REST API integrations, SOQL

Salesforce experience in working and troubleshooting Apex Class, Triggers, JavaScript

Salesforce experience in setting field-level security, profiles, sharing rules, and monitoring audit trails

Salesforce experience in working in Managed and Unmanaged Packages

Salesforce experience in in Streaming API, Change Data Capture or Platform Events will be a plus

Experience working in GITHUB, integrating with Oracle CPQ or Apttus CPQ or DocuSign will be a plus

Knowledge of software industry standards (ISO, CMM, Six Sigma), financial regulations will be a plus

Good verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels

Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills

Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts
