Company

This family owned business specialises in the import and sale industrial equipment across Australia and New Zealand. Current revenue is $35m. They are aiming to grow to c.$60m in the next 5 years. They are extremely ambitious and want to accelerate growth. This will be through a mixture of organic and M&A. There is a strong culture that is based around a core set of values.

Position

The focus of the role is to provide commercial and strategic support to the MD, the leadership group, and the broader business in order to drive growth. There will also be a focus on utilization rates, working capital, inventory management, sales analysis and cash flow forecasting.

You will drive the long term IT strategic plan. Constantly looking for improvements. It is important to continually look to optimise and enhance reporting.

A background in a capital equipment and/or servicing and maintenance environment would be desirable. Experience in ERP system implementation is also desirable.

Profile

CA/CPA qualified you will be a strong leader. A blend of technical excellence and commercial energy is required as the business seeks to grow. As a self-starter, you must be able to clearly demonstrate an ability to influence and at times be prepared to have critical conversations.

Crucial to success in this role is your ability to be proactive and acting in anticipation of future opportunities or challenges. You must be comfortable being visible to the wider business.

You must be able to demonstrate agility as the business changes ideas and strategy to deal with new situations.
