Job Description:

The Oracle CPQ Manager (Configure, Price, Quote) is a critical role that is hands on and people manager in supporting global Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation. The position will be our expert in understating and supporting the CPQ functionality within the Oracle Quote to Cash. CPQ is the starting point for taking quotes which eventually will lead to the creation of sales orders in Oracle Cloud ERP. The candidate will manage a small internal team and external consultants.

It's a functional role will need to work with many key stakeholders in the business across multiple businesses and functions and will need to be able to deal with functional topics, data topics, testing, and business process topics.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Must have experience on delivering large scale CPQ projects and Configure Oracle Cloud - CPQ
• Must have experience on working on business process design, quick POC's & Demo's Strong delivery background in product modelling, BML scripting, and Commerce modules.
• Interpret business requirements and help the business prioritize.
• Determine and implement a continuous improvement plan for CPQ.
• Should have experience on code review's and optimizing code/solutions for high performance.
• Should be able to follow and propagate the best supporting practices around CPQ solution.
• Experience with Integrating CPQ with other Cloud and On-Premises systems.
• Experience in Global design and roll outs for CPQ.
• Experience with production support, updating configurations, testing and deployments to production.
• Test the Oracle System and related processes.
• Design and document systems solutions/specifications
• Train users both one on one and more formally in larger groups
• Work collaboratively with team members to analyze data and identify key insights to plan and design solutions that align with business requirements
• Collaborate with CPQ Administrators, developers and QA resources to test and verify that solutions meet the business requirements
• Participate in key meetings with cross-functional stakeholders, including scoping and requirement sessions, solution demos, and user acceptance testing
• Should be able to engage cross business unit product managers to build consensus around model building practices and optimization processes

Nice to have but not required:

• SAP Variant Configurator experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study.
• 8+ years of Oracle CPQ professional experience is required.
• Must have experience creating complex models in Oracle CPQ.
• Must have direct report experience. Must know how to conduct team meetings, 1:1 meetings, performance reviews and compensation decision making.
• 2+ years of experience in leading resources for projects required.
• Knowledge of the application development life cycle.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to plan tasks and track progress against an integrated team project plan
• Strong business acumen, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
