Position Purpose
The position’s purpose is to support sales strategy, processes and performance through analysis of market, customer and branch data.
Primary Duties/responsibilities
Maintain accurate and detailed analysis of the Branch's addressable market.
Support Growth Manager in developing the 3 year growth strategy and action plan to deliver, including researching/ determining focus segments and customer targets.
Support the Growth Manager by establishing and tracking sales metrics.
Perform win/ loss analyses.
Coordinate with other Sales Operations Specialists to share learnings and with National Accounts & other branches.
Track and enforce SalesForce usage, develop templates for territory & account planning.
Project manage marketing campaigns within the branch (e.g., ensuring follow up to trade show contacts) working closely with ESS Gulf Coast Marketing.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
Ideally - previous sales operations, marketing or finance experience
Experience of financial analysis and analytics
Experience of RPM or other SalesForce systems
Ideally - a degree or equivalent experience in science, mathematics, or business
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Highly numerate and analytical
Very structured and prioritized - able to focus on the most important issues
Tolerance of working with multiple/ not finished systems until full RPM roll out complete
Able to work collaboratively across different functions
High degree of confidence to raise issues with colleagues in other teams who may be more senior
Knowledge of, or ability to build knowledge of, the hazardous waste business
