We seek a Director of Sales Operations who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment and is passionate about proactively solving problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations and strategic initiatives that empower our sales team. Your responsibilities include managing and building comprehensive databases for our sales reps, developing and maintaining an integrated sales tools ecosystem, and overseeing key sales programs in collaboration with Sales Enablement, IT, and door-to-door marketing teams. From project and program management to creating innovative, data-driven solutions, your tasks will vary based on the evolving needs of our business—ensuring no two days are the same.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop and maintain a robust database for sales reps to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Build and manage an integrated sales tools ecosystem that enhances productivity and streamlines sales processes.
- Work with sales leaders and the data team to continuously refine and optimize these tools.
- Partner with Payroll and Sales Enablement on building and maintaining payroll solutions and compensation plans.
- Own the sales programs
- Summer program: April-September
- Recruiting program: September-April
- Develop programs to increase sales
- Develop a salesman Experience plan
- Plan salesman recruiting and leadership development events
- Manage the sales program in close collaboration with Sales Enablement and door-to-door marketing teams.
- Organize and lead stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment and effective communication across all teams.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience managing timelines and deliverables, with PMP certification preferred.
Other Responsibilities
- Develop and execute salesman communication plan
- Develop and execute a salesman experience map identifying all touchpoints and experiences
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to execute experience
- Brainstorm creative experience ideas and bring them to life
- Develop and Execute Pre-Season Sales Plan
- Take a hands on approach to supporting and developing leaders
- Engage with your direct reports through 1:1’s, daily/weekly/monthly check ins as needed, and quarterly reviews
- Engage with your indirect reports through skip level check ins.
- Drive a culture of constructive feedback and growth
- Develop and maintain a staffing plan
- Make recommendations for changes to our contractor agreements
- Work with General Counsel to make changes to contractor agreements
- Complete data analysis projects to provide insights to sales leaders on sales performance and recruiting performance
- Work with sales leaders and data team to identify and build sales tools
- Provide insights into data as assigned projects
- Be the truth-teller of the company by always telling stories with data and facts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or business operations.
- Proven leadership experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior management or director-level role.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales productivity and operational efficiency.
