Position Overview:

As the Manager, Pipeline & Claims management you will play a critical role in driving the front-end piece of the Sales cycle as well as ensure customer claims are effectively managed. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the pipeline management process, driving the cadence and reporting on pipeline performance. In addition, you will capture, track and confirm payments relating to business link and other claims from/to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline management:

  • Refine works flows to ensure that we have a robust Pipeline management process
  • Partner with the CRM team for effective digitization of the process within the system, streamlining the forms, improving the user interface and experience
  • Define KPIs to be tracked and the dashboards to be visualized within CRM
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales leaders in setting effective pipeline targets in the beginning of each fiscal year, that are aligned with the business goals
  • Host the global weekly pipeline review calls. Issue follow-up actions post the call
  • Track and report on progress of Must Win programs
  • Analyse effectiveness of pipeline activity at a region, customer, product and sales person level
  • Identify pockets of opportunities to grow the pipeline at a region, customer, product and sales person level based on addressable market (factoring in target content per vehicle)
  • Document lessons learnt from programs lost, and propose corrective actions to improve win rates going forward
  • Report on pipeline, new adds, wins, losses by region, customer, product and sales person level, and performance versus targets
  • Analyse volume deviations to award letters and work with the Regional Sales leaders to understand the reasons thereof, and correction actions that they will be taking
  • Periodic stakeholder reporting of Pipeline performance


Business link :

  • Enhance the workflows relating to the capture of Business link commitments we have made to the customer at the time of being awarded the program
  • Ensure the relevant information on the business link is being effectively captured within CRM
  • Partner with the CRM team for effective digitization of the process within the system, streamlining the forms, improving the user interface and experience
  • Provide a monthly report to Finance on the business link commitments so that they can make the necessary accruals in their system
  • For upcoming business link payments, review the performance with the sales team to confirm if the customer is eligible for the business link payment
  • Provide a monthly report to Finance on business link payments due to the customer
  • Determine dashboards to be visualized in CRM to analyse business link


Claim Management:

  • Enhance the workflows relating to the capture of Claims that the customer has made on us, as well as claims that we have made on the customer
  • Ensure the relevant information on claims is being effectively captured within CRM by the Sales team
  • Partner with the CRM team for effective digitization of the process within the system, streamlining the forms, improving the user interface and experience
  • Provide a monthly report to Finance on the claims so that they can make the necessary accruals in their system
  • Partner with the Regional Sales leaders to ensure that the Sales team is providing periodic updates on the claims. Bring to the attention of the Regional Sales leaders if claims remain unresolved for an elongated period of time
  • Provide a monthly report to Finance on outstanding claims, their aging and status
  • Determine dashboards to be visualized in CRM to analyse claims


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Proven experience in sales operations or a related role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes, including forecasting and pipeline management
  • Understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer behaviour in the automotive industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales technology platforms.
  • Results-oriented mindset, ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
