Fractional CFO

Acuity Associates is partnering with a publishing and ecommerce organisation based in Portsmouth to seek a Fractional Chief Financial Officer to help drive their next phase of growth. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for developing long-term financial strategies, building scalable infrastructure, and preparing the business for future expansion and a potential exit. The company is seeking a hands-on finance leader who can provide data-driven insights, financial modelling expertise, and strategic direction to support their ambitious plans.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Fractional CFO, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of the company. Your expertise will be essential in:

• Developing financial models and growth plans, creating scenario-based strategies to guide decision-making
• Building scalable financial infrastructure, ensuring processes, reporting, and compliance align with growth objectives
• Providing strategic financial leadership, offering insights on funding, profitability, and potential exit strategies

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced CFO with a track record in e-commerce or product-based sectors
• Strong background in financial modelling, scenario planning, and growth strategy
• Proven experience in scaling businesses and preparing for investment/exit

Additional Details:

• Location: Hybrid 1-2 days per week, with occasional travel to Portsmouth.
• Day Rate: £800-£900 per day.
