Interim Chief Finance Officer (Manufacturing) on behalf of our esteemed client, a dynamic manufacturing company. This is a
full-time, remote position in
Wisconsin with 25% travel to support manufacturing locations.
The Interim CFO will play a critical role in managing financial operations, with a primary focus on cost accounting, treasury management, and financial reporting. This leader will be responsible for closing books, managing accruals, optimizing cash flow across multiple sites, and providing accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including private equity partners and banks. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills, manufacturing industry expertise, and experience managing multi-site financial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate cost accounting practices, financial controls, and reporting. Manage accruals and provide analysis on cost structures.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management, to maintain financial stability across multiple sites.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including private equity firms and banking partners.
- Oversee financial operations across multiple locations, implementing scalable systems and driving efficiency.
- Work closely with the PE firm, banks, and leadership team to provide insights and strategic financial guidance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and risk management protocols.
- Provide hands-on support and leadership to finance teams across sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Active CPA certification required.
- Proven expertise in cost accounting, treasury management, and financial reporting.
- Strong experience closing books, managing accruals, and preparing reports for private equity and banking stakeholders.
- Manufacturing industry experience with multi-site financial oversight.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to support site-level teams as needed.
- Strong background in cash flow management and financial stability planning.
- Audit experience is a plus.
