T3 Sixty is working with a client who is looking for a Chief Financial Officer. This is a remote position, though candidates located on the West coast are preferable.
The Chief Financial Officer is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial and risk management operations of the company. This includes monitoring cash flow and directing the preparation of financial reports and summaries, including forecasting and predicting future growth.
Compensation: $150,000 - $240,000 (DOE) + bonus
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and direct financial plans to deliver the strategic business plan, company growth and market opportunities.
Define the financial strategy to provide insight and analysis to help make key decisions based on business strategy.
Set-up and oversee financial and operational controls and metrics, including the budgeting process and financial analysis.
Develop accurate financial forecasts and provide executive leadership with data-driven financial insights to support long-term strategic growth.
Present a weekly GAAP-compliant financial report, detailing available cash, previous week’s expenditures, and upcoming financial needs.
Create actionable plans to address financial shortfalls, including strategies to monthly losses and a clear timeline to reach break-even.
Manage and oversee the P&L by analysis of the key drivers of revenue and spending.
Properly allocate income and expenses across multiple entities.
Analyze spending patterns to identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Provide regular compensation analysis and recommendations for staff, management and agents.
Identify and pursue opportunities for securing additional capital through investors, lenders, or strategic partnerships.
Manage and oversee bonus structure to ensure trackability and consistency.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience desired
5+ years of experience in a residential real estate brokerage desired
5+ years of management experience
CPA certificate is a plus
Proven track record of budget setting and managing rolling twelve financials
Demonstrated experience with creating and managing financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred
Ability to read, create and interpret documents such as financial statements, variance reports, and tax reports
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Ability to write/develop complex reports and correspondence with the right tone
