Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Location: Fort Myers, FL

Salary: $225k-$275k + Bonus

Requirements: 15+ years of professional financial career progression involving accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, risk management, leadership, etc. Experience in the Construction or real estate industry is a big plus but not required.

This is a full-time permanent position with a well-established General contractor with a heavy focus on large commercial and industrial construction projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive team. The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Experience in the construction space (or similar industry) would be helpful but is not required.

What You Will Be Doing

• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
• Manage the company's financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team and board of directors.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Evaluate and manage risks, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of Finance experience
• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role.
• A background in the construction or real estate industry is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficient in financial software and tools.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA / CPA preferred.
