The role will succeed a long-standing finance leader and be responsible for transforming the finance function into a high-performing, business-focused team. Key Responsibilities Finance Transformation & Leadership • Build and lead a small, high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Process & Systems Optimisation • Implement best-in-class financial processes, policies, and systems to enhance efficiency and support the company’s growth trajectory.
Strategic Decision Support • Provide insightful financial analysis and commercial advice to the Executive Leadership Team to enable data-driven decision-making.
Operational & Commercial Partnership • Work closely with operations to drive profitability, optimise cost structures, and improve financial visibility across the business. • Play a key role in pricing and commercial negotiations.
Acquisitions & Growth Execution • Support and execute M&A opportunities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and funding strategies.
Technology & Systems Implementation • Lead the selection and implementation of a new financial system that aligns with the company’s evolving needs.
Risk & Compliance • Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and risk management practices to protect the business and support sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate is a commercially focused CFO or an experienced financial leader ready to step up, with a proven track record in growth environments.
Required attributes include: • Strong leadership skills – experience building and developing small but high-performing finance teams. • Strategic mindset – with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution. • Financial systems expertise – experience in systems implementation and process improvement. • Commercial acumen – ability to partner with operations and drive business performance. • M&A experience – exposure to transactions, including due diligence and integration. • Entrepreneurial mindset – experience in high-growth, privately held, or founder-led businesses is highly desirable.
