About the Role
Personal Assistant to the Director of Business Operations
St Aloysius’ College is seeking a highly organised and experienced Personal Assistant to support the Director of Business Operations at St Aloysius’ College. Demonstrating a high level of administrative and organisational support, the Personal Assistant will be a self-starter with strong experience in forward planning, diary management and a demonstrated commitment towards time-bound tasks.
Working autonomously to deliver exceptional support, the Personal Assistant will work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders, including members of the College Leadership Team and College Board, coordinating meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and ensuring that all enquiries and priorities of the business office are appropriately addressed.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high professional standards, the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands with a focus on delivering outstanding results, whilst also maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
This is an ongoing part-time (0.8FTE) position with an immediate start with flexible working options available.

Your Application
To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition;
- Possess strong administrative experience and organisational support at a senior level. Experience in the education sector or professional services is advantageous though not a requirement;
- Demonstrated experience in extensive diary management and prioritising competing deadlines;
- Capacity to manage a range of administrative tasks and organisational systems;
- Warm demeanour, empathy and the ability to adapt to people and situations;
- Effective and efficient conflict resolution skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information in accordance with the College's policies and governance systems;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take accurate and detailed meeting minutes;
- Possess a service orientation with the ability to build trusting relationships;
- Should be self-driven and be able to produce work of a consistently high standard;
- Ability to problem solve and perform all tasks with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
