About the Company - RJ Byrd has been engaged to find a CFO for a DFW based client with multiple lines of businesses. The role will be and hands-on position and responsible for managing the accounting department including established policy and procedures pertaining to financials, controls and systems. This is a highly visible position, reporting to the CEO and will be challenged to maximize returns by evaluating cost structures and recommending changes and enhancements. This is an aggressively growing organization and Private Equity backed.
About the Role - Lead financial discussions by managing existing policies and implementing new ones. Direct all operational accounting functions, including KPIs to be presented to executive team and PE firm. Evaluate existing and enhance compliance measure with internal controls. Oversee and consolidate all financial data from existing and future growth. Oversee cash activity to include daily bank balances, cash projections, etc. Present monthly financial packages and conduct projected vs actual performance. Enhance newly implemented ERP to better serve existing business needs and future needs.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
10+ years of successful track record working in a high growth, fast-paced, entrepreneurial companies under $30M in revenue
Exposure to SMB tax strategies is a plus and desirable
Multi-unit experience required, preferably in ecommerce, retail and wholesale industries
Strong leadership, energetic, self-starter and highly motivated characteristics
Possess highly detailed abilities to manage multiple priorities and pressures of tight deadlines
Must be able to work in fast paced environment, with changing priorities
Strong personality, sense of humor, thriving in hard work and accomplishments
