About This Role
The Sales Operations Specialist reports to the Sales Operations Manager. You’re a result-oriented motivated Sales Support professional looking to work collaboratively with business leaders, sales staff, and cross-functional departments. Supporting the sales goals of a global sales team and working cross-functionally across departments, and process-oriented tasks while building customer and partner relationships.
You will be responsible for supporting our channels, supporting the contract administration, customer master, partner portal, and marketing funds process through sales initiatives and administrative needs, and providing timely responses to requests.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the management of the support tasks of the Sales team to quickly resolve bottlenecks from Sales Operations related issues.
Handling and resolving channel concerns, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; following up to ensure resolution.
Using large datasets to analyze sales channel trends to support strategic growth of the channel.
Tracking, routing, and redirecting problems to correct resources.
Interacting and supporting our sales channel to ensure a positive customer experience.
Documenting current sales and operations processes and workflows, and communicating these changes to our channels.
Assisting in identifying improvements to our internal sales operations systems to improve channel processes.
Handling and resolving channel concerns; providing appropriate solutions and alternatives; following up to ensure resolution.
Serving as a point of contact; assisting with account onboarding/terminations and documenting sales process, policies, and procedures.
Reviewing, refining, and enhancing internal customer master data.
Other activities to support our sales channel and customer base, as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Associate's Degree.
3+ years of Data Analytics, Data Research, or accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Excellent research, writing, and organization skills.
Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Excel and basic skills in Microsoft Access.
Experience in JDE, Oracle, SAP or similar ERP System.
Critical thinking and ability to monitor progress and follow through.
Basic understanding of accounting functions.
Ability to work easily in both large team environments and independently.
Experience using data to analyze and solve problems.
Process-minded, able to generate refined output from general concepts.
Motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible.
Able to successfully collaborate with multiple personalities and communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work under pressure and to interact effectively with people from different cultures.
