📍 Location: Remote/ San Francisco Preferred.

💲 Salary: Starting at $250,000 base + 50% bonus

Storm2’s client is a leader in payments leader providing merchants with a powerful, data-driven platform to optimize their payments, reduce churn, and drive revenue growth.

Backed with strong financial investment ($100m), they are looking for a strategic CFO to steer financial operations, ensure fiscal integrity, and support their next phase of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving company preparing for a key financing round, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, managing investor relations, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight & Compliance: Ensure financial integrity, oversee audits, and manage financial controls alongside an experienced controller.
• Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to track performance, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Strategic Financing: Lead and execute financing initiatives, managing relationships with equity and debt providers in preparation for upcoming capital raises.
• Executive Partnership: Act as the CEO’s right hand in financial and operational matters, ensuring alignment across the leadership team.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce.
• Strategic Financing Expertise: Proven track record in securing and managing debt and equity financing.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI management and dashboard reporting.
• Leadership: Ability to collaborate across teams, hold stakeholders accountable, and drive operational efficiency.
