Chief Financial Officer

Salary: $95.00 to $110.00 hourly

Description

We are in search of a Chief Financial Officer to join our Non-Profit organization located in Sacramento, California, 95825. As a Chief Financial Officer, you will be tasked with thoroughly evaluating and improving our finance department's structure, processes, and systems. This role provides an opportunity for a short term contract employment.

Responsibilities

• Scrutinize current financial operations, including accounting procedures, budgeting, and reporting
• Enhancing internal controls, ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations, and revising financial policies and procedures
• Evaluating the capacity and skills of the finance team to determine potential staffing needs and identify training opportunities
• Analyzing financial systems and technology and recommending potential upgrades or integrations
• Establishing benchmarks and best practices tailored to nonprofit organizations
• Preparing a detailed report summarizing findings and recommendations for optimizing the finance function
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of Business Systems
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Expertise in Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Experience in Capital Management
• Ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis
