A company is seeking to hire a replacement for its retiring Chief Financial Officer.
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations. The role also aligns with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.
An ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, a current CPA license, experience in both Public Accounting and Industry, and familiarity with Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Member of Studio Leadership Group
Assist Firm Leadership Group in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Develop, monitor, and report financial and tax strategies and performance by forecasting, measuring, and analyzing results
Assist Firm Leadership Group in developing corrective actions to minimize the impact of variances
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
Participate in key financial decisions with the Corporate Leadership Group
Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
Oversee employee benefit plans in coordination with HR
Oversee the issuance of financial information
Monitor and report cash balances, cash forecasts, and line of credit status on a bi-monthly basis to the Corporate Leadership Group
Report risk issues in a timely fashion to the Corporate Leadership Group
Arrange for debt and equity financing
Invest funds
Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Ensure client invoicing occurs monthly
Ensure vendor and consultant payments are made in a timely manner
Develop and manage finance staff
Additional duties may be assigned by the CEO and COO
