The Opportunity:
As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their friendly and solution-focused team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a senior member of their leadership team, responsible for overseeing the overall financial performance and management of the finance function. This role is both strategic and hands-on, ensuring our continuous improvement agenda is met through effective business systems and governance structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CEO on strategic business growth initiatives.
Manage and develop financial strategies, compliance requirements, and controls.
Deliver high-quality accounting services, including P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
Work closely with the operations team to address manufacturing variances and improve performance.
Provide financial insights for special projects and strategic initiatives, including market expansion and capital upgrades.
Oversee the organisation's technology function and lead strategic IT projects.
Partner with leaders across operations, quality, product development, and sales.
Represent the managing director at industry events and strategic meetings as required.
About You:

Extensive experience as a financial leader in a complex food processing / manufacturing environment.
Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of driving profitable business growth.

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on developing high-performing teams and workplace culture.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and deliver outcomes.
A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, law, commerce, business, or a related discipline is essential; post-graduate studies are desirable.
