This role’s primary responsibility will be to complete a thorough quality assurance review on a high volume of order records associated to a signed contract prior to completing the activation of the order record (contract).
The individual in this role will be a key contributor in engaging with sales representatives and account executives to efficiently drive new and renewal business through the customer order set up and contracting process.
The Contracts Deal Desk Administrator will be a valuable member of our Sales Operations team. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Relationship Management, and other stakeholder owners across the organization. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills as well as order management, contract review/negotiation, pricing, and Salesforce CRM system experience.
What you’ll be doing

Following a defined review process to determine the appropriate action to take within the contracting system (Salesforce.com)

Performing quality assurance checks on order records entered in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Ensuring information on order forms and other contracting documents match CRM information and comply with company policy to decrease contract rejection rates

Working with Sales, Legal, Finance, Relationship Management, and other stakeholders to ensure information required for downstream processes is complete and accurate for each contract

Making recommendations for individual and group training to improve efficiency in contracting sold business
What you will need to be successful

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge of general sales and marketing concepts or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of two years of experience, ideally with Salesforce experience and/or contract support experience.
- Experience with CRM system

Experience reviewing order forms and other standard contractual documents

Experience supporting sales teams

Cross-functional relationship management skills
