The Deal Desk Analyst 3 is responsible for resolving complex client and account manager questions regarding negotiated contractual business terms operational issues and assisting with the structuring of deals contracts and the billing audit process.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide guidance and support to account managers and clients regarding complex negotiated contractual business terms
- Negotiate complex contractual business terms with customers and prospects
- Make recommendations to leadership for the billing audit lifecycle to ensure company is maximizing revenue and billing in a timely manner
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure assigned open contract requests are resolved and contract objectives are met
- Review, investigate and resolve complex operational questions and issues for account managers and clients
- Assists with the development of non-standard pricing for customers; makes appropriate recommendations to leadership
- Identify and document initial and negotiated pricing terms for incorporation into contracts
- Maintain and update guidelines and parameters for non-standard business and contract terms
- Provide input, guidance, and support to order processing team on custom contract terms
- Perform review of account manager requests or questions and escalate as necessary
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in software sales or contract negotiation in the software industry
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of company accounting rules and their contractual and revenue recognition impact
- Maintain a general knowledge of OnBase functionality and comprehension of licensing strategies
- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently to completion
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Able to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity, discretion and tact
- Up to 10% travel time required
- Based on Colorado law, the following details are for Colorado individuals only: Colorado base salary range: $80,000 - $114,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits.
