We are building a Deal Desk team to be a solution-oriented team within the organization, championing change and continuous improvements to drive sustainable growth throughout the organization. The Deal Desk team is constantly iterating and improving upon our pricing strategy execution and tools, sales operations processes, data hygiene, and contracting guidelines.
As a Deal Desk Specialist, you will primarily support our EMEA region providing standard deal desk tasks, focusing on deal velocity in reviewing, enforcing and guiding our sellers in the day-to-day quote to contract continuum. You will also support our team with pricing operations to improve processes and tools. Your starting salary will be
2700€ per month with stock options and other benefits included. You can work in one of our
Central Europe offices or from home on a
full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Assist sellers through deal and pricing tool configuration, salesforce opportunity product/pricing data hygiene, approval and order process enforcing standard pricing guidelines, policy and tools.
- Reviews pricing and product configuration, and business terms to support the sales effort. Work together in the phases of the development, review, and acceptance of quotes and bids
- Administer deal desk functions including, but not limited to: contract research, creation of order forms, orchestrate business and commercial approvals, order requests for varying levels of deal size and complexity ensuring compliance with published sales and business approval policies
- Work cross-functionally, collaborate and build proactive & positive relationships with peers, managers, sales operations, shared services, and account teams to ensure consistency within processes. Determine best practices, and work efficiently to help facilitate deal approvals/closure
- Provide ongoing recommendations regarding the improvement of deal desk and company deal processes
- Assist the deal desk team in implementation of new tools and process improvements to support growth
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years degree in a finance, revenue, or business administration related field.
- One to three years experience in Deal Desk, sales ops, finance, revenue accounting role; Experience working in the SaaS industry is a plus
- Understanding of the sales cycle and quoting processes
- Detail and process orientation and solutions based approach to problem solving.
- Effective business acumen and communication skills - verbal and written in English
- Adept at business partnering and working with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task, able to work in a global team
- Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Basic understanding of accounting standards and revenue recognition, a plus.
- Experience with CLM and/or CPQ tools like DocuSign, PandaDoc, etc… is a plus.
- Proficiency in excel or Google Sheets, and Salesforce CRM is a plus.
- Motivated problem solver with the ability to sort through issues to create and recommend improvements
