We are seeking a dynamic E-Commerce Pure Play National Business Manager for our retained Food & Beverage client. This role will develop the vision and implement strategic business plans to drive company growth objectives for eCommerce Pure Play retailers, and will be responsible for all “Business to Consumer” eCommerce and digital online e-tailers (Amazon, Peapod etc.), supporting brick-and-mortar sales teams on eCommerce-related best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and activate online (pure play) account plans and strategies that drive synergy with brand sales strategies
- Develop relationships with retailer IT & online departments managing eCommerce
- Collaborate with Region and Account Managers, as well as Marketing and Supply Chain, to deliver against portfolio goals
- Develop compelling online merchandizing concepts, promotional strategies, and product presentation to improve market share and grow eCommerce sales
- Share/capture best demonstrated practices, and build strong relationships with internal and external customers
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
- Combined 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Key Account/National Account Sales, and eCommerce Pure Play (Amazon a must)
- Strong working knowledge of websites, digital advertising platforms, email and analytics
- Experience holding customer P&L responsibility for Amazon and other Pure Play accounts
- Travel required = 35%
- Familiar with all aspects of a retailer’s corporate and store operations
- Superior sales, communication, organization and management skills
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
