NA RGM Senior Deal Desk

Position Purpose
Reporting directly to the NA RGM Pricing Review Lead, the Senior Deal Desk Analyst will be an integral member of the NA RGM Pricing Review and wider RGM team, reviewing and making objective decisions on all NA pricing decisions and being the primary point of contact for pricing exception requests from sales, working within defined business pricing policy parameters guardrails. Additionally, the incumbents will be responsible for supporting analysis & pricing insight and the wider Deal Desk across the region relating to all aspects of the Gross to Net price waterfall – ensuring strong evaluations, reviews and returns and consistent with RGM controls and business needs.
Principle Accountabilities
Act as a key point of interaction with Sales across NA on the NA RGM pricing strategy and putting it consistently into practice
Act as first point of contact and challenge for pricing exceptions and reviews through operating the Deal Desk, building strong, balanced objective, and open relationships with all departments
Act as the exception process owner, managing and supporting the escalation process to senior leaders with Category, RGM hierarchy leadership to VP and FD as required – capturing and summarizing with clear recommendations the requests and contextual information for efficient reviews and decision making.
Review and manage all direct pricing decisions, ensure review evaluations are completed rigorously up front and reviewing to ensure strong delivery of pricing, consistently for KCP NA at all times.
Review pricing whilst keeping up to date on wider account terms decision (inc A&P (Vendor acc) PPD and Logistics) to ensure a complete P&L review when reviewing any pricing requests.
Participate in commercial and functional transformation efforts that drive results for the business unit.
Ensure a clear detailed plan is built with RGM Pricing Strategy lead, Implementation and Pricing leader for delivering seamlessly at implementation and forward pricing for any CPI (Cost Price Increase) activity as required by KCP NA – providing detailed analysis and plans for implementation – managing the exception process to link in with Category and RGM Leaders for collation and review and decisions
Attend, input and support the QPR (Quarterly Pricing Review) meetings with sales as required
Participate in and/or manage proactive project efforts to identify actionable value creation programs that drive results for the business unit – track and report on results as delivered
Support and develop the wider Deal Desk team in development and building capability and approach to the Deal Desk role.

Qualifications/Experience
Team player, able to work independently, with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively towards multiple deadlines/tasks
At least 3 years of experience in a finance or pricing role
Excellent analytical / problem solving skills
Excellent telephone manner
Excellent time managements skills, sense of urgency, able to prioritize
Ability and desire to influence / drive change
Ability to work with all levels of the organization and communicate effectively
Enthusiastic, resilient and able to manage pressured situations
