As the Sales Operations Manager, you'll oversee sales operations for our retail operations in Natural, Conventional, Mass, Club, E-tailer, and International channels by accurately recording data, performing administrative functions, and assisting with presentation building. Additionally, you will serve as in-store demonstration coordinator for the retail marketing team. Responsibilities
- Perform all administrative functions for the Wholesale team, including new vendor paperwork, new item paperwork, distributor paperwork and all internal resource documents, etc.
- Maintain and update all data management software including 1WS, IX1, Syndigo, etc.
- Partner with Brand Marketing team to analyze data and trends and develop materials
- Support sales team members with business planning, data analysis, and presentation deck building
- Manage in-store demos and kit preparation, and coordinate them with internal teams and external agencies
- Set up wholesale customers on Shopify’s wholesale web store and vet all wholesaler / reseller requests
- Maintain retailer and distributor portals, e.g., KeHE connect, DemandTec, WFM Portal, etc.
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Finance and all other internal teams to maintain operational excellence
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within the CPG industry working with U.S. Natural, Conventional, Mass and Club Channels
- Extensive experience with back-end sales administration, including retailer portals, data systems like IX1, 1WS, etc.
- Strong data analysis, sales presentation building and Excel skills required
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written & verbal) skills
- Self-starter and able to complete tasks on-time and with limited management
- Accuracy and attention to detail a must
- 10-20% travel required
