The Manager of Sales Operations (MSO) manages support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include CRM management and administration, budget setting and management, sales compensation administration, sales reporting, expense management, contract administration and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
CRM Management and Administration
-
Manage all processes that impact / relate to Salesforce.com including custom workflows, new releases, enhancements, and functionalities

Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes overseeing the “Change Management” Committee if appropriate

Maintain and/or design security and integrity including user roles, licenses, profiles, and hierarchies

Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed

Provide sales and financial data to company executives

Create and continuing enhance training and adoption of system

Create, document, and maintain company processes, workflows including development of ongoing guides and capturing field maps
-
Manage data quality, data migration, and CRM system maintenance to improve overall quality and help Leads/Opportunities identification

Assist with migration from older systems/processes into Salesforce.com

Manage the sales reporting process which includes providing revenue & margin data reports at the company, sales group, sales rep and customer levels.

Manage all price increases/decreases in conjunction with the customer analytics group
Financial Analysis
-
Manage the sales reporting process which includes providing revenue & margin data reports at the company, sales group, sales rep and customer levels.

Provide sales and profit analysis on all large customer opportunities
-
Analyze existing business to identify:
- Opportunities for profit growth (e.g. alternative pricing strategies, production planning, etc.)
-
Potential financial exposure related to inventory, AR’s, rebates, etc.
-
Large gaps between original pricing assumptions and actual job activity
-
Negative trends related to order size, order frequency, item activity, etc.

Recovery of up front financial concessions in exchange for long term business

Manage all price increases/decreases in conjunction with the customer analytics group
Sales Administration

Manage the company sales compensation program
-
Manage all ongoing requirements of sales compensation such as:
- Overall system design and ongoing updates
-
Reports – e.g. commission reports, management reports, proformas, etc.

Assist FDC Finance group in executing draws and commission payments
-
Analyzing and facilitating any manual adjustments
-
Manage sales budget setting process and related reporting
-
Establish and manage the monthly sales forecasting process
-
Monitor and update monthly rebate accruals as needed
-
Monitor and update Sales Policy and Procedures
Qualifications:
-
Ability to work from Elk Grove Village, IL (Chicago area) or Batavia, OH (Cincinnati area)

3 to 5 years of Salesforce administration experience
-
In‐depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and have successfully expanded on those capabilities through the use of custom code (Apex, s‐controls) and/or integration with external systems

Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard salesforce.com reporting functionality

Previous re‐engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions

com Administrator certification is required

Detail oriented and self‐starter with strong written and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool

Minimum expectation of a Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent education/experience

Great communication skills with enthusiastic personality

Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications
