We are looking for a results-driven Manager who will partner with the sales and operations teams to leverage data, technology, tooling, and process to eliminate sales inefficiency, tighten sales processes, and create new data insights to increase productivity of the sales and account management organization. As a part of the team, you will contribute to Unimed’s next chapter of growth by driving quarter over quarter performance and by supporting our strategy to create even more market demand. In this role, you will use a consultative approach to partner with internal stakeholders to efficiently run the business to achieve quarterly targets while transforming the business to continue on our accelerated growth trajectory.
This is a high-visibility role that will partner across several teams to drive effective pricing strategies and deal terms, streamline the contract life cycle, and improve sales processes and documentation. We need a smart, roll-up your sleeves, anything to get the job done individual who is willing to jump in and support all aspects of our sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of sales compensation plans, quota assignment, and goals
- Track and manage account forecast, performance analysis, commercial KPIs
- Ensure the creation and delivery of standardized sales, quoting & account management dashboards
- Package & deliver key insights to executive stakeholders on a consistent basis
- Oversee day-to-day operations for sales and account management teams
- Manage SAP effectively for sales reporting and tracking
- Build out the commercial sales operations structure to fuel short and mid-term goals
- Sales planning that includes market sizing, sales org structure design, account and territory assignment, and quota development and allocation
- Sales measurement, reporting, and analysis that includes sales data management, sales activity tracking, pipeline and opportunity reporting & analysis, and operational reporting and dashboards
- Sales process design and management that includes sales stage definition, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast management, sales support and administration, and pricing review, approval, and compliance
- Assist in the development of commercial system standards and ensure compliance with the standards and procedures within assigned region
- Partner with business areas to understand their operations, define their requirements and propose solutions
- Assist in strategic planning processes and collaboratively develop plans and roadmaps to address organizational needs and goals
- Manage client relationships
- Standardize contracting processes and partner with finance and operations to automate and streamline approvals and reviews
- Enforce commercial terms, including revenue recognition, pricing and legal guidelines
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating sales team events as needed to support sales team onboarding or learning
- Onboarding and training of all newly hired team members, including any system set up and accesses
- Overall sales support, account management and administration
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales operations functions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills; able to present information through the spoken & written word; influence or persuade others in positive or negative circumstances
- Experience with client prospecting, forecasting, and business development
- Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, and translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Proven experience managing a team of 10+ direct reports
- Demonstrated business acumen with Sales, Marketing and Finance knowledge
