Success In This Role Means
Clari is looking for a proven Deal Desk leader that will be in charge of developing and operating Clari’s global deal desk.
- Architecting a quote to cash process that drives velocity, accuracy and efficiency at scale (1,000s of transactions)
- Driving organizational alignment on “what is a good deal?” and creating guardrails around an aligned definition
- Building a world-class deal desk team that supports Clari’s go to market across all segments and geographies while maintaining high levels of rigor and internal client satisfaction

Responsibilities
- Be the cross functional leader of our quote to cash process that touches sales, finance, IT, accounting and legal
- Manage all aspects of Deal Desk including supporting sales in deal structuring, approvals, and order management
- Build and scale a deal desk model that supports volume and velocity while maintaining accuracy for downstream stakeholders
- Partner with our leadership team to define and establish effective guardrails around commercial terms that are economically beneficial to the business
- Continuously optimize the data, tools, and process throughout the quote to cash lifecycle at Clari
- Generate buy-in and awareness on improvements to the deal desk tools, data, and process with key stakeholders in finance, sales, revenue operations, etc.
- Analyze quoting and pricing patterns to drive recommendations and optimization of customer LTV
- Lead and develop a team of deal desk analysts & managers with clear roles & responsibilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years of combined deal desk, pricing, operations and/or commercial experience, with experience building and leading a deal desk or operations team
- Exceptionally process oriented, with experience across all quote to cash processes
- Strong communication and influence; experience presenting to C-level and Senior Leadership
- Deep understanding of revenue technology tooling, with an emphasis on SFDC and CPQ
- Understanding of key issues affecting deal desk around deal structuring, bookings policies and revenue recognition
- Knowledge of SaaS business metrics and deal structuring
