We're looking for a Sr. Sales Operations Analyst to join our Sales Planning team and act as a bridge between Sales Planning, Operations, and our retail customers to ensure execution of our exciting retail expansion plan, proactively communicate to mitigate risks, and strategize creative solutions as new challenges and opportunities arise.
This is a full time, in-person/hybrid role (2-3 days in office per week) based in Tribeca, NYC.
As our Sr. Sales Operations Analyst, you'll:
- Create strong partnerships with Operations team to understand production, inventory, and shipping, and uses this knowledge to inform order management
- Deeply understand Sales/Sales Planning roadmap including retail landscape, forecast, trade plans and sales priorities, using this knowledge to inform order management
- Collaborate on S&OP process, bringing together those Operations and Sales Planning inputs, and leading discussions around forecast changes, challenges, risks and opportunities
- Work cross functionally to establish and work toward KPIs around fulfillment rates, reclaim rates, deductions, etc. to ensure best-in-class execution and contribute to a healthy retail business outlook
- Review and approve all incoming orders before passing to logistics team for execution; troubleshoot with retailers when POs do not match forecasts
- Form strong partnerships with rebuyers and work with them to edit, cancel or reissue POs to meet forecast, complete resets, limit OOS risk and maneuver through various challenges
- Monitor customer DC inventory levels and proactively request or limit orders to meet DOH and shrink risk goals
- Project manage sales ops components of new customer launches, innovation launches, seasonal and shipper programs and other special initiatives
Requirements
- 3-5 years of previous work experience in Sales and Operation Planning/ Integrated Business Planning in CPG
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience with Modus Planning is a bonus, but is not required
- Strong communication skills
- Retail Knowledge: strong understanding of grocery retailers (Target, Walmart, Kroger, Safeway Albertsons, KeHe, UNFI, etc), champion of industry best practices, general knowledge of retail fundamentals (distribution, trade, performance metrics)
