We are searching for a high-energy, self-motivated Deal Desk Specialist to support our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This individual will be a central part of the Business Operations team working collaboratively with Sales and Client Success leadership, managers, and Reps to drive monthly achievement of targets. The Deal Desk Specialist is expected to raise efficiency and productivity of new acquisition and retention orders and process compliance through consultation with the GTM teams and implementation of best practice sales processes. This position will manage the support functions essential to Sales and Client Success. The Deal Desk Specialist will be a primary point of contact for the GTM teams and act as a liaison with Executive leaders, Marketing, Finance and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and review of Sales and Client Success opportunities, quotes, and order forms to ensure compliance with current policies & pricing and to confirm orders are booked through to invoicing

Liaise closely with Legal to ensure efficient contract review process for any non-standard terms– including the initial review of legal requests coming from customers

Liaise with Finance and flag any issues to Sales Management that could delay order processing (e.g. credit issues, system issues, revenue recognition, collection and credit, etc.)

Administer, manage, and support sales revenue forecasts and bookings reports

Assist in the sales forecasting process by providing weekly reports to Sales Management participating in regularly scheduled forecast calls with the sales team

Participate as required, in developing and delivering training materials on sales policies, processes and systems

Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to Kantata’s business problems

Qualifications
- Experience in a Sales, Operations, or Deal Desk environment, preferably with background in SaaS

Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Effective written and verbal communication skills
