THE ROLE DEFINED:
The Director, National Account is responsible for setting strategy and leading a team of national
account executives focused on business development initiatives in the US with national customers in the QSR channel. She / He will also retain direct customer responsibility serving as a “Working
Director.” This position has responsibility for developing the annual operating plan, setting
performance standards & succession planning. This leader will operate as the primary customer advocate and strategic leader of this channel and will develop and lead the execution of plans that drive long term value.
The Director, National Accounts works cross functionally with Bimbo QSR to find opportunities and synergies to drive value within the National Account portfolio in the US.
A strong background in custom National Account Management, along with a proven track record in developing sales teams, and demonstrating financial/business results is critical for this role. The
incumbent will have the opportunity to access Grupo Bimbo’s networks of production capability and product offerings and will require strong influencing and negotiating skills. The position supports the VP of Sales and the General Manager of the Americas by providing oversight and ensuring compliance against all Bimbo QSR trade, pricing, and supply chain management policies and procedures.

Business Development
• Support national account team in developing strategic joint business plans for national
account portfolio. Gains alignment with all internal stakeholders to deliver against plan
(fields sales, operations, marketing, finance)
• Supports the Annual Operating Plan and budget process and provides forecasts & updates on
all risks and opportunities
• Supports national account team in business development activities and contract negotiations.
• Identifies and leads development of key channel initiatives and programs that support long
term growth
• Direct responsibility for Key Strategic QSR Customers
• Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, beyond existing
portfolio
Partner Development & Team Building
• Builds high performing teams through partner development activities, training and
development and coaching
• Challenges and inspires team members across the business unit and functions
• Serves as thought leader, and contributes to strategy development as part of Bimbo QSR’s
Leadership team
• Manages succession planning, recruiting and talent acquisition in National accounts

Summary of Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
• 10+ years National Account Team leadership or General Management in B2B environment
with Fortune 500 companies
• Deep knowledge of QSR channel, including significant network of relationships within US
national accounts
• Strong contract negotiation and business development skills
• Track record & passion for developing people and leading teams
