To support that challenge, the Global Digital Marketing team is currently seeking a Global Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead - Digital Strategy, for Vegetable Seeds. This position can be remote in the US only, or located in Boise, Idaho, Woodland, California, or Downers Grove Illinois. As a Global Marketing Automation Lead, you will support our local and regional marketing operations teams in the Vegetable Seeds business unit, by developing and implementing an effective omni-channel marketing automation strategy, measuring the efficiency of campaigns, and customizing our marketing automation strategy to reach our diverse customer segments.
You Will Help Shape The Future Of Agriculture By
- Serving as the subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and developing a comprehensive marketing automation strategy for email and SMS texting campaigns for field events, newsletters, and onboarding campaigns
- With support from the Customer Relationship Management team, identifying and implementing audience acquisition and segmentation techniques to grow, nurture, and maintain leads and opportunities
- Partnering with Content Marketing and Marketing Operations team members to optimize in-flight campaigns, maintain brand integrity, and manage conversions from top-of-funnel channels
Accountabilities
- Monitor and analyze landing page conversion rates and the automation pipeline and actively makes performance enhancements
- Govern MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) process and the distribution of leads to local sales and marketing operations teams; partners with regional Sales Operations teams to digest sales feedback
- Build and manage Marketing Cloud email templates and CMS landing pages, with a focus on optimizing conversion rates
- Champion a data-first mentality and use a “test and learn” approach to campaign design to maximize results and establish best practices, such as A/B testing, landing page optimization, and personalization
- Provide KPI (Key Performance Indicator) analysis and insightful reporting to the team, ensuring campaigns are delivering on priorities and goals
- Partner with the Syngenta Marketing Automation and Website Centers of Excellence to bring new tools, tactics, and strategies to the Vegetable Seeds Business Unit
Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ of experience developing, implementing, and using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud, or similar technology
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field
- Proven project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors
- Experience creating multi-channel campaigns
- Experience implementing and using email, SMS, chat bot and webinar solutions
Preferred Requirements
- HTML and CSS email coding and graphics experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting B2B (Business to Business) sales and marketing teams
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing automation, email, and SMS strategies, including when and how best to use each channel
- Knowledge of best practices, including the adherence to global privacy legislation in the sales and marketing process and systems arena
- Demonstrated experience with ad platforms, such as Google Ads, programmatic advertising platforms and social advertising networks
