About The Job
The Red Hat Operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join us in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that Red Hat’s sales goals are met in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. On a daily basis, you will oversee activities related to sales pipeline management, data and reporting, guiding process standardization, and providing operational support for Red Hat's sales quoting tool. You will also work with the regional Operations, Finance, and IT teams on projects and tools to improve sales productivity.
What You Will Do
- Guide operational optimization and simplification for new and existing sales processes
- Facilitate forecast and pipeline measurement activities with the sales team
- Provide ad hoc analysis to understand quotas and sales representatives' performance
- Assist with regional quota planning activities and use cross-functional resources to create, develop and deliver sales-ready insight and analysis
- Provide systems and customer relationship management (CRM) quoting tools support for tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC) or Apttus CPQ and CLM to the sales team, including lead, opportunity management, and quoting cases
- Troubleshoot existing processes and resolve issues logged by users
- Conduct sales training and enablement for new hires
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s or business related degree; 3+ years of experience in either business analytics or sales operations management in a technology industry
- Proven experience working with sales systems and tools like CRM, SFDC forecasting and reporting, Google Suite, Microsoft Office
- Exceptional detail orientation with a proven ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative and deadline-driven environment
- Highly motivated with ability to lead initiatives
- Excellent analytical ability, communication skills, solid judgment, and ability to work effectively with business and technical associates; skilled at asking probing questions to get to the real needs and requirements
- Ability to map out existing sales workflows and processes and make improvement recommendations
- Experience in dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting with tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus
