🚀 About The Role
As the Deal Desk Analyst (West Coast), you will be a key member of the Legal Operations team. The Deal Desk Analyst will support our sales and customer success teams with quotes, contracts, and pricing. For this role, an analytical mindset and attention to detail are imperative. You will support all deal structuring, booking, (e.g., pricing, quote creation, approval management, signature process and opportunity closure). You will have an opportunity to work cross-functionally throughout our organization and interact daily with the finance, sales, legal, and customer success teams.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day crafting of standard as well as complex, non-standard deals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales, finance, and legal in these transactions
- Proactively identify process gaps and drive initiatives that simplify and improve all sales cycle processes
- Align and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, knowledge and support is provided
- Provide guidance on deal structuring to meet the needs of the customer while preserving economic value
- Partner with Revenue and Legal teams to ensure transactions comply with revenue recognition and business operational policies
- Partner with Sales to ensure opportunities are properly created, closed and tracked in Salesforce (including stage, ARR, booking amounts, and various other required fields)
- Monitor deal progress and support Sales with closing bookings
- Contribute to Deal Desk scaling initiatives by playing a critical role on special projects, including the creation of the playbook for non-standard deal structure models, Deal Desk automation, Dashboards, sales analytics, and various performance metrics
💡 Requirements
- MUST be located in Pacific Time Zone
- 3+ years of experience in deal desk or similarly related role
- Ability to understand business objectives/goals and convert to simple, tangible solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail
- Experience crafting complex, nonstandard deals with multiple cross-functional partners
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively with innate curiosity
- 2 + years experience with Salesforce.com and CPQ Tool management (e.g., Deal Hub or Salesforce CPQ)
- Experience working with remote sales and other departments/roles/ teams
- Dedication to excellent customer service and collaboration with teammates
- Ability to own and run deals end-to-end
- Project management and operational creativity experience a plus
- Experience with both direct and indirect (i.e., reseller) business models a plus
- Must be a self-starter, detail oriented and analytical with strong organizational skills
- Extremely strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Compensation: $90-100k
