About The Role
100 Thieves is currently looking for a Director of Revenue Operations & Business Intelligence to establish strategies to accelerate growth and drive scale for new and existing partnerships. This position will join the best brand partnerships team in gaming, driving performance and market leading results for our brand partners across branded content, streaming, display, video, social, audio and commerce. This person will be responsible for servicing our Brand Partners through experienced leadership, developing and maintaining strong relationships through high-touch client services and the ability to create brand stories that transcend specific media channels while optimizing the sales process to maximize revenue.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant digital advertising industry experience
- Expert proficiency in Salesforce software
- Proven track record of helping new media companies build innovative, new revenue streams that help increase profitability and scalability
- Experience managing, developing and growing high performing teams focused on revenue recognition
- Understanding of media pricing, forecasting and delivery
- Experience building and communicating the value of complex media plans
- Understanding of the production process and content creation
- Analytical, investigative, and a solutions-oriented problem solver
- Strong storyteller who is able to communicate the value of a community, premium content, and how to move consumers through the sales funnel
- Gaming knowledge not required, but a benefit
- Role will be based in Los Angeles supporting sellers in the Midwest and East Coast and will predominantly work West Coast hours, however flexibility is needed at times to accommodate East Coast hours depending on clients
Responsibilities - Strategy and Sales Enablement:
- Lead all revenue opportunities, including inventory, forecasting, pricing and owning the sales process
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry players, vendors, platforms (see thought starters to follow)
- Perform competitive platform analysis on companies, influencers, etc., collaborating with team to develop new ideas and revenue generation strategies
- Build proposals and negotiate deals, as needed
- Bring organization to the handoff from vision to execution
- Help structure new/non-standard partnerships, so they execute quickly and at max efficiency
- Lead regular trainings on new strategies for team members, generate buy-in and enthusiasm
- Develop meaningful data projects to help identify opportunities and generate more revenue
- Bring clarity to new business propositions with decks, 1-sheets, case studies, data & insights
- Collaborations between Revenue Ops and Finance:
- Create partnership revenue forecasts & product/solution cost modeling
- Collaborate with finance to understand & manage P&L & OpEx + monitor margins on strategic initiatives
- Evaluate existing pricing practices and continuously look for opportunities to repackage and price our assets
- Cross functional work with partnerships, marketing, content
- Develop and manage platform relationships (client, talent agnostic)
