The Revenue Operations Analyst is proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented. They will be a positive and solution-oriented partner for stakeholders across the B2B business unit. The ideal candidate would have exposure to enterprise and inside sales operations in a technology, subscription service, or relevant experience in a similar role.
The role reports to the Manager, Revenue Operations and works closely with stakeholders in Product (for Hospitality Solutions), B2B Marketing, Go-To-Market and Operations. This role will primarily be responsible for revenue tracking, reporting and analysis, forecasting and planning for Hospitality Solutions sales teams across Hotel and Restaurant business units.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and communicate key insights to the leadership team based on reports and analysis, explain business performance, identify issues, and uncover levers for improvement.
- Assesses the needs of the business, prioritize projects and drive new reporting requirements to completion including but not limited to expanding upon existing sales metrics, identifying new metrics that matter to Tripadvisors commercial outcomes, ongoing KPI measurement and reporting, goal setting, forecast and pipeline planning.
- Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity or requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.
- Work closely with peers in the Business Operations organization to adapt and translate existing business processes for sales: forecasting and pipeline management, sales territory design and analysis, incentive design and sales programs.
- Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes.
- Look for commonalities across our business needs, recommend improvements to accelerate current scaling mechanisms, and leverage our tools and automation to grow our capacity
- Assist with ad hoc queries and provide analytical support to our fast-growing business as it evolves
Who You Are
- Process focused: A deep understanding of the value of process, balanced by a strong instinct for speed and accuracy will be key. Working closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Product, and Finance. Ability to operate with startup instincts within a $1B+ global organization.
- Analytically oriented: Educational and/or deep professional background in quantitative analysis – expert in asking the right questions, and answering them with data; and communicating business insights to executives
- Forward thinking: An instinct to look around corners and plan several steps ahead, while identifying and mitigating risks before they stall your initiatives
