Sales Operations Manager

Remote
The Sales Operations Manager provides support functions essential to business productivity and predictability. These include planning, reporting, process optimization, enablement, and program implementation. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Operations, this individual works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate objectives and priorities are met across the company.

Responsibilities

    • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of reports and other intelligence essential to the company and recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
    • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, timeliness, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities cross-functionally within the company.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and works closely with sales and other management to inspect process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and facilitates a culture of continuous process improvement.
    • Evaluates, implements, and administers enabling technologies including CRM (currently Salesforce.com) and monitors the company’s internal compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
    • Builds, coordinates, and delivers training and enablement to sales and sales support personnel across the company.
    • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting activities.
    • Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management and partners with them on various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
    • Five years relevant experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
    • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
    • Proven experience managing and administering sales/technology platforms including Salesforce.com, Clari, SalesLoft, Octopost, Duns & Bradstreet, Hoovers, etc.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong PC proficiency including the Microsoft Office suite and/or Google Suite.
