Position Summary
This role is a key driver in supporting the rapid expansion of Techbuyer’s Enterprise Solutions division across the UK. The role reports to the Managing Director – Enterprise Solutions with day to day working side-by-side with the sales, marketing, and technical teams.
Most order within the Enterprise Solutions division will be ordered via distribution with the majority including both pr-sales and post-sales technical involvement. The role is to ensure every order is treated as a formal project, formally managed via the distribution channel, and delivered exceeding all our customer’s expectations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop relationships across HPE, VMware, Veeam and Microsoft’s distribution channels to understand their working processes and practices.
- Working closely on every opportunity to help maximise the customer relationship by ensuring the smooth delivery of all orders.
- Responsibility of processing each purchase order, utilising Techbuyer’s internal systems and procedures, whilst ensuring each Distributor’s requirements are met on every order to avoid delays.
- Working with the pre-sales and post-sales technical teams to ensure timely delivery to each end user to link with all required technical on-site implementation services.
- Build relationships with all customers as their key Operations contact to create additional value to the Enterprise Solutions engagements.
- Maintain a support log for all maintenance, licenses and HPE care-pack renewals to guarantee Techbuyer’s timely quotation on all opportunities.
- To act as overall additional resource across Enterprise Solutions where needed.
What We're Looking For
The Sales Operations role within Enterprise Solutions is central to the smooth processing and support of all sales orders, from point of order to successful delivery and installation at the customer’s site. In addition the role is responsible for all maintenance and support renewals, following HPE, VMware and Veeam’s commercial procedures in obtaining pricing, deal registration and competitive alignment whilst supporting the sales administration functions.
Desired Experience (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Tenacious approach to work, able to multi-task within a high-pressure environment.
- Skilled in key Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, O365, Teams and PowerPoint. Experience of Oracle NetSuite or similar CRM system an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Information Technology industry an advantage but not essential.
- Extremely organised and structured, able to work on complex end-user projects.
- Comfortable engaging both via the phone, Teams, and face to face (when needed) with end users, suppliers, and partners.
