Chief Financial Officer

Overview: We are seeking a hands-on finance leader with experience in mid-sized firms or startups to build and oversee a global financial function for a holding company. This role focuses on establishing centralized controls and processes across multiple entities, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build & Lead the Finance Function: Establish and develop the accounting and financial department for a multi-entity holding company.
• Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage an international finance team of up to 15–20 members, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Financial Strategies & Policies: Create and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and best practices across all subsidiaries.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as rolling forecasts and long-range financial projections.
• Cash Flow & Performance Monitoring: Oversee day-to-day accounting, reporting, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial performance tracking and healthy cash flow.
• Compliance & Audits: Remain up-to-date on relevant legislation, manage taxation matters, and facilitate both annual and periodic audits.
• Process Improvement: Introduce tools and workflows that enhance fiscal management, project coordination, and cross-team communication.
• Strategic Partner: Contribute to executive-level decision-making by providing data-driven insights and shaping long-term financial strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Successful track record as a finance leader (Controller, VP Finance, or CFO) within mid-sized or startup environments.
• Hands-On Approach: Comfortable “rolling up your sleeves” to manage both strategy and day-to-day financial operations.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and internal controls.
• Leadership & Communication: Skilled at building high-performing teams, guiding change management, and delivering clear financial insights to stakeholders.
