Position Summary:
As part of the Data Management Team, this position will support the Medical Nutrition Nestle Health Science (NHS’c) Pharma, Infant Nutrition and Retail Teams with accurate and timely customer data. The analyst is responsible for understanding, preparing and analyzing data to make the data valuable and useful for operational and / or decision-making purpose. The data analyst also identifies opportunities for improving and streamlining processes and systems. Interpreting customer data and collaborating with internal and external business partner teams to support objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage trading partner data within the ERP system related to the internal governance rules and processes.
- Acts as data subject matter expert; researches and resolves master data issues. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality through error detection, correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
- Prepares and analyzes data. This can include locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating, or modeling.
- Enforces data rules to maintain data integrity and quality.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently across multiple teams and work groups
- Performing data audits to identify problem areas & implementing strategies to optimize data integrity and process improvements
- Provide support to newer team members and collaborate with team members on resolutions to data provider challenges.

- Seek and adopt best practices in data reporting, make recommendations for data processing improvements. Identify opportunities to improve the process and data accuracy
- Update/maintain 1Sync Global Data Sync Network (GDSN) information and publishing Nestle Health Science GTIN Data and making sure it is loaded into needed data pools.
- Ensure accurate and timely EDI transmission of incoming files. Seek and resolve EDI related issues with trading partners, customers, and our third-party provider. Meet Service Level Expectation of resolving EDI issues.
- Standardizes and cleanses raw data using predefined rules as well as establishing new rules as needed.
- Perform analytical research to identify and resolve routine data issues affecting customer data sets and services. Responsible for identifying the nature of data issues and develop solutions to resolve the issues
- Uses knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and needs to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve the desired business benefits.
- Creates job aids, process flows, external-facing forms and documents, and other type of department knowledge articles.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- BS/BA in business, management, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of relevant job experience.
- Proficient in a variety of applications such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- EDI experience in issues resolution
- Experience with SAP and SAP reporting tools, such as Business Objects and Business Warehouse environments.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Data Management role
- Experience in analytics and data management
- Working knowledge of Vistex, EDI, Open Text Portal, PowerBi
