SUMMARY
The Director, Sales Operations is responsible for optimizing the success of the Citizen Watch America sales teams by creating, implementing, and managing sales projections, targets, processes and performance. The Director, Sales Operations works as a key partner to the Strategic Business Unit leaders and other senior management to strategize, develop and coordinate cohesive Sales plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages 4 direct reports.
Performs in-depth analysis of sales figures including commissions, sales performance, targets, and budgets. Monitors and measures key objectives for various sales teams.
Manages and audits all sales related department targets and expense budgets. Designs, implements and maintains sales compensation plans.
Oversees sales reporting and analysis for all corporate sales channels, including sell-thru and sell-in data.
Oversees B2B site management including retailer promotions, account activity and enhancements.
Establishes, develops, and implements policies and procedures for the Sales Department.
Develops, directs and leads sales reward and incentive programs, consistently tracking ROI and adjusting as needed. Works with marketing to develop sales programs and incentives for the field sales teams.
Liaises with Customer Experience to ensure wholesale accounts’ needs are being met.
Align with the Planning department on allocation and order fulfillment process.
Creates content and documentation and trains field sales team on various sales programs and platforms.
Defines business requirements for sales technology; assist with design, implementation, and reviews for continuous improvement.
Defines the optimal performance measurements (KPIs) and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. Aligns reporting, training, and incentive programs with these performance management priorities.
Coordinates National Sale Conference and trade shows including site selection and event planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of sales operations or comparable experience
- Proven ability to develop and lead a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills including presenting complex material in an organized and compelling manner
- Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities and can recommend strategies by building business case and influence senior leaders to move to execution
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Power BI, Microsoft NAV, eShop, a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 10 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
