Thermacell currently employs 125+ full time employees at our 4 locations: Bedford Massachusetts (Corporate HQ), Buford Georgia (Manufacturing & Distribution), and Hampton Florida (Science & Research Center).
Role Purpose
Thermacell is looking for a resourceful, action-oriented, individual experienced in sales operations and execution of strategies to play a key role in our growing North American sales business. A driven candidate with strong analytical and project management skills along with a deep curiosity for optimizing processes and relationships would excel in this role. This person will act as a key liaison among our internal Department Leaders and Managers along with our external Broker partners. This critical role will report to the Senior Director of North American Sales and Channel Strategy and the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to do work they are proud of in a nimble, results oriented, growing organization with innovative products, positive market disruption, and a community of passionate, high integrity people who love the outdoors.

WORKING HOURS: Typically, between 9-5pm M-F (open to some flexibility),
WORK LOCATION: Corporate Office – 32 Crosby Drive Bedford, MA; minimum 3+ days in Bedford office
TRAVEL: minimal; 5% travel expected
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Process Ownership
- Work closely with Senior Director of North American Sales and Channel Strategy on analyzing, planning and assisting with execution of strategic business initiatives
- Ownership of multiple simultaneous customer requirements and ability to drive end-to-end account execution.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and identify opportunities with our Demand Planner, Director of FP&A, Brand Manager and others as well as external stakeholders like our Media Consultant and Broker Partners.
- Ability to execute Thermacell Sales strategy using your extraordinary relationship building skills and omni channel knowledge. Play a key role in our “Plan to Win” structure impacting our budgeted revenue and margin goals.
- Collects, analyzes, shares and leverages data (POS, syndicated, retailer, weather insights etc.) to identify data-based opportunities, validate insights, and help the business make wholistic decisions.
- Act as the internal and external point person to resolve any challenges, recurring business issues, claims, chargebacks, and deductions across key internal team members, agencies, and broker partners
- Clear understanding of customer specific metrics used to measure account health and success (Main Accounts and Beyond). Units/store/week, $/store/week, OTIF.
- Active partner in the S&OP process owning monthly forecasting, risks & opportunities trackers and communication outputs.
- Work closely with Go-to-Market team members to ensure successful delivery of new products and display programs for North American strategic accounts.
Promotional Planning and Financial Management
- Proactive and creative problem solver who understands the financial priorities of both Thermacell and the customer.
- Ownership of collecting and maintaining promotional plans and spending will drive sales and secondary placement of Thermacell products.
Collaboration
- Support daily management of multiple simultaneous customer requirements and ability to drive end-to-end account execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and their leaders, including our Sr. Dir. Global Brand Management, our Exc. Dir. Of Global Insights and Innovation, Sr. Dir. Operations & Dir. FP&A to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful execution of Thermacell strategy.
- Key involvement in our channel strategy in areas such as creation and sales management of charters, input for our product and promotional matrixes with ownership of informing cross functional partners.
- Participate in company brainstorming meetings utilizing your industry knowledge.
- Active partner in our S&OP forecast process.
- Flexibility to take on other projects or responsibilities as required in response to evolving business needs.

Compensation
Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary and an
Annual Target Bonus Program-details provided separately. Benefits for this position will consist of vacation benefits at a competitive level, along with
9 paid holidays, 2 Floating Holidays and a day off for your Birthday! Additionally, a company shutdown period is offered for one week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

You may start contributing to our 401k after completing 30 days of service (enrolling on the first of the following month). You will be eligible for the employer match up to 4% (base salary + overtime wages - subject to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) legal limit) after completing one year of service.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business is required, though other degrees may be considered if accompanied by relevant work experience.
- Required experience in the following key areas:
- Project management
- Sales operations experience
- Analytics
- Experience in CPG
- Understanding of analytics and ability to interpret data, including creating key reports and analysis on a regular cadence and as needed.
- Proficient in key retailer specific portals and programs with proven ability to use data as a strategic advantage to drive growth within defined initiatives and plans (Walmart: RetailLink, Luminate, Costco: IRI, Target: POL, Syndigo)
- Knowledge and experience with forecasting sales and shipments, partnering with Supply Chain team and leveraging related databases.
- Proven planning, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills to gather and synthesize large sets of data.
- Keen attention to detail, efficiency, timeliness and accuracy in a fast-paced environment, including precision executing customer specific documents.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism – can interface with all levels of the organization.
- Skilled at operating at a high level of efficiency and within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones to achieve set goals.
- Experience working with outside sales rep groups preferred. (Harvest Group, Bluebird Group)
- Microsoft Office Suite.
