As a Business Operations Generalist, you will be a key player in our growing team, contributing across recruiting, partnerships, and strategic special projects that are crucial to scaling a startup. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is excited about driving impact across multiple functions.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting (25%)
Own the end-to-end recruitment process for key hires across go-to-market (GTM), operations, and technical roles
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent, leveraging creative outreach, networking, and employer branding
Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality candidates, ensuring an excellent candidate experience from first contact to offer acceptance
Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define hiring needs, create job descriptions, and structure interview processes
Implement tools and processes to improve recruiting efficiency, track metrics, and ensure a data-driven approach to hiring
Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance Tellius’ reputation as a great place to work
Partnerships (25%)
Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and market expansion
Work with leadership to prioritize key partners, including technology providers, resellers, and industry influencers
Own partner outreach, negotiation, and onboarding, ensuring mutual value and strong long-term collaboration
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create co-branded campaigns, joint webinars, and GTM initiatives with partners
Maintain strong relationships with existing partners, tracking performance and identifying opportunities for deeper engagement
Special Operations Projects (50%)
Take on high-impact, cross-functional projects critical to scaling a startup, such as fundraising support, business process improvements, and market expansion initiatives
Work closely with leadership on strategic initiatives that shape the company’s future
Research and execute process improvements that streamline operations and improve efficiency across teams
Act as a problem solver and operator, stepping into different areas as needed to drive business growth

1-3+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, or a related field
High agency - ability to figure things out and get things done no matter what

High slope - ability and interest to learn new things, including leveraging all the latest GenAI tools to 10x yourself
