Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Sales Operations Specialist role is designed to drive business growth using data-driven analytics to support our sales organization. The incumbent will work with Sales leadership on strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and efficiencies. In this role, you will be responsible for helping sales executives and management make data-driven decisions that align with overall company objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process and methodology improvement
Implement strategic approaches for the sales team to network with new prospects and current clients to identify potential new business opportunities
Facilitate successful implementation of new programs/software through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch
Support the proposal/RFP processes
Conduct searches and queries to qualify; generate sales leads
Ensure sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales team
Coordinate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate Salesforce reporting initiatives
Work closely with the Marketing team on the Company’s involvement with sales events and conferences. Where the Company is participating as a vendor at a sales event or conference you will act as the on-site point person for set-up and scheduling
Supporting business for AML and KYC
Skills:
Good technical and analytical skills and ability to propose operational solutions and solve moderately complex problems specific to a project or assignment
Experience using and developing reports, metrics and dashboards with tools within the Google Suite and Salesforce
Enjoys coaching and training others on processes
Solid interpersonal skills
Have an aptitude for framing complex business problems and producing recommendations to inform decision-making
Show discretion and ability to handle confidential issues
Solid organization skills with the demonstrated ability to plan, multitask and prioritize
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision, as well as a team player
Detailed and results oriented
Education and Experience:
1-3- years’ experience optimizing sales operations
College or University degree in Business and/or Marketing
Be able to travel within Ontario periodically and nationally on occasion
Bilingualism (FR/Eng) is an asset
